POLICIES & INFORMATION
We want your stay at Voyager's Inn to be the best of your Michigan travel experiences! Our innkeeping philosophy is to remain in the background, allowing you to enjoy our beautiful home while respecting your privacy. However, we are available if you need us!
We don't have a lot of rules, but a few policies are needed for smooth sailing:
Reservations/Cancellations: A credit card number (Mastercard or Visa) is required to hold your reservation but will not charged until you arrive. Payment upon arrival may also be in the form of a check or cash. RESERVATIONS MUST BE CANCELLED 24 HOURS PRIOR TO SCHEDULED ARRIVAL in order to avoid a $40 cancellation/no-show fee.
Additional Fees: Room rates are for single/double occupancy. Additional person/rollaway bed: $15 (plus tax; breakfast included). Additional person (breakfast only): $7.50 (plus tax). No additional charge for children under 7 years of age.
Check In/Out: Check-in time is after 3:00 PM, and the Innkeeper is usually on-site between 3:00 - 6:00 PM. If she cannot be present, or if you arrive later, your keys will be left in an envelope on the front porch. Check-out time is 11 AM.
Parking: Park on the street in front of the house to check-in and unload your personal items, BUT overnight street parking will result in a ticket. Please park in the Voyager's lot behind the house, accessible from the alley.
Smoking: Voyager's Inn is smoke-free.
Pets: We regret that we are allergic and thus cannot accommodate pets.
Guest Common Areas: We hope you will take time to explore and enjoy the public areas of Voyager's Inn: the parlor, the music room, the library landing, the front porch, the gardens, and the backyard sitting areas. Feel free to browse about and enjoy our treasures and collectibles.
Beverages & Breakfast: Self-serve coffee and tea are available any time of the day or night in the parlor. A full, hot, plated breakfast is served daily. Please notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you make your reservation.
Sweet Dreams: Satisfy your sweet tooth with a treat before bed...available nightly in the parlor.
